Just had a refurb, ASDA is central to South Woodham Ferrers and it is the hub for local life. Great supermarket with good prices and product. Employs a lot of locals so is connected to the community and has a lot of friendly helpful staff. Large parking lot with a petrol station and a number of other shops.
Dreadful, Shelves empty, no staff on tills, probably because no one ever shops on a Saturday afternoon! good thing really as there were no bags. Total waste of time going.
Good bakery section and pizza counter. Reasonably priced and quality of food. It has a mid sized entertainment section in the foyer. Vast number of self service checkouts but not open for use early in the morning. There is also a Mcdonalds restaurant just off the foyer. Car parking is usually fine but can be busy at lunch times.
